Doctrine

How we run AI.

Four positions. They decide what we build, what we refuse, and what every client can read in their portal before a system goes live.

A 1980s computer room, an operator at a green terminal beside a wall of tape drives
Your data stayed in the building. Now it stays in Canada.

Autonomy.

An agent acts alone only where a mistake is cheap and reversible.

Every system we build has one of four settings for every action: never, draft only, act and log, act alone. Filing a copy is act and log. Sending an email is draft only. Paying a bill is never. The settings are written down before launch and shown in your portal.

Accountability.

A named person answers for every agent, and can switch it off.

The agent runs under its own account with the least access that does the job. The log shows every action, the document it touched and why. The owner has the off switch in the portal. When it gets something wrong, we fix the rule, not the person.

Reassignment.

Work moves to people; people don't move to the machine.

Before we build, we write down which work moves off whose desk and what they do instead. Someone reads the log and the review list. That is minutes a day, not the hours the job took. If nobody is better off, we don't build it.

Residency.

Your data stays in your country. That is a conviction, not a feature.

We run in cloud regions in the country your business is in, Canada by default, or on your own hardware. Your data never trains an outside model. We will say no to a tool that cannot meet that, even when it is cheaper. Most of our clients handle other people's personal information; that is the standard they are held to, so it is ours.

What we won't do.

Pay, sign or send on its own

Money, contracts and outbound messages always wait for a person.

Train an outside model on your data

Your data runs your systems and nothing else.

Run where we can't see the log

If it can't be logged, it doesn't run.

Promise a result we haven't measured

Projections are labelled. Results come from your own checks.

Rules first. Then the build.
